Having set at least one new online poker record, last week – on August 13, 2008 to be exact – a player that goes by the username of “yuvee04” (though to his friends and family, he’s Yuval Bronshtein) accomplished an incredible feat: winning back-to-back online multitable tournaments and accumulating a whopping $170,000 for his efforts.
The site was FullTilt Poker; the tournament, the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS); the events –
- FTOPS Event #14: $535 HORSE
- FTOPS Event #15 – $216 Turbo No Limit Holdem
While this may be his greatest online poker triumph to date, this is not the first big win for the 24-year-old, as “yuvee04” was the winner of last year’s FTOPS #6 – Stud Eight or Better. He had also made that year’s final table in HORSE.
Brohshtein lives near Atlanta, Georgia and says he earns most of his money in Full Tilt Poker’s high-stakes Razz tournaments.
