Starting September 5th, 2008 the World Championships of Online Poker are returning to PokerStars. This year there will be 33 events offering a combined $30,000,000 in guaranteed tournament cash winnings.
WCOOP 2008 will feature tournaments in Texas Hold’em, Omaha, HORSE and more. The WCOOP will culminate with the Main Event on September 21st with a $10,000,000 guaranteed No Limit Texas Hold’em Event that is sure to introduce a couple new millionaire’s to the world.
Players can buy in directly to any WCOOP event, but they may also qualify via satellite tournaments for as little as $2.20 or get in on the action with their frequent player points as well.
The WCOOP at PokerStars runs from September 5th – 21st, 2008.
