Bodog Poker launches the second incarnation of its week-long, 14-tournament event, the Bodog Open. This year, the culmination of the event is a BPO II Main Event with a guaranteed minimum prize pool of $300,000.
8 of the tournaments in the Bodog Open II will be “Championship” events with the other 6 being special “Bounty” tournaments where players can earn bonuses for knocking out various spotlighted Team Bodog poker pros and specially featured Bodog players.
The Bodog Open II starts this Sunday, September 28 with two events:
- the first Bounty event: No Limit Hold’em w/$5,000 added
- the first Championship event: No Limit Hold’em w/rebuys and $10,000 added
The players in the premiere bounty event with a price on their heads are the winners of many of last year’s events in the inaugural run of the Bodog Open.
The Bodog Open II main event takes place on October 5, where each player will start with 10,000 and battle it out for their share of the guaranteed minimum $300,000 prize pool.
