A new poker room is on the scene, and it aims to make every member a poker millionaire. It’s called “MillionDollarPokerClub” and it’s creator is Playsafe, the company that runs Tiger Gaming and Action Poker.
The first thing anybody with even an inkling of the online poker scene would no doubt ask on reading this (what I first asked upon spotting the story) is why would a new poker room dare enter an industry that’s already oversaturated with competition for players? What could it possibly offer that differs from anything already available in an already established poker room?
Apparently, the new site starts off by trying to attract new players with a signup bonus that triples players’ first deposits. That’s certainly an attention-grabbing start.
From there the site promises to offer live player coaching and more satellite opportunities to win seats into more online poker tournaments with million-dollar prize pools or larger than any other existing poker site.
That’s a tall order to fill. But who knows? Just having “Million Dollar” in the name could bring a whole crowd of players with dollar signs in their eyes through the doors.
