With the 2008 PokerStars WCOOP half way finished players have been paid out over $2 million in 1st place prize winnings with the top winner so far taking home over $600,000 from the High Roller NL Hold’em event #5.
With a little more then 1 week to go in this years WCOOP there are still some large guaranteed prize pools to be won, including the $3 million NL Hold’em event on 9/14 and the guaranteed $10 million NL Hold’em Main Event on 9/21/08.
Players may qualify for both of these tournaments and all of the other remaining events via satellite tournaments at PokerStars for as little as 500 frequent player points or $2.20.
