Cake Poker, Poker News, Poker Rooms

Cake Poker and the CakePoker network is nothing not diligent about protecting the integrity of its players and the game of online poker, and they just proved it–ousting a player from the upcoming Bluff Online Poker Challenge.

The player is Josh Field (aka JJProdigy) and the offense, permitting another player to compete using Field’s account. Though the month-long tournament with a Bluff Magazine cover story up for grabs will be held on Lock Poker (part of the Cake Poker Network), the wrongdoing was conducted on the Cake Poker site itself.

Part of Cake Poker’s Terms of Use explicitly that no player is permitted to allow another to have access to playing under their account. This is a confidence booster and peace-of-mind builder to any poker player concerned about collusion and other forms of cheating in online poker. According to Field, his punishment includes being banned from playing at any Cake Poker Network poker room.

To Cake Poker we say, Thank You for helping maintain online poker’s good name.
