A recent U.S. DOJ decision stating in-state online wagering doesn’t break federal laws has prompted a New Jersey Senator to press his cohorts to OK a bill legalizing internet gambling inside the state’s borders.

State Sen. Raymond Lesniak says that he will attempt to get a bill to Gov. Chris Christie’s offices as early as next week The aim will be to make New Jersey the nation’s innovator in gambling online, as the us government states that in-state wagers don’t breach current law.

Nevada has already been heading to exploit the decision. Recently, the state’s gaming authorities authorized gaming corporations to apply for permits to run online poker rooms. Caesars Entertainment and Boyd Gaming already have presented proposals to become licensed in Nevada.
