The 1st High buy-in event of 2012, Pokerstars’ PCA ends with Viktor Blom besting a tough field to win the $100,000.00 Super High Roller event for $1,250,000.00.

The stacked final table included former EPT winner Mike McDonald, 2010 PCA Main Event champ Galen Hall, WSOP main event winner and recently robbed Jonathan Duhamel, and crowd favorite Stars RedPro Daniel Negreanu. Blom’s got heads-up with fellow nosebleed pro Dan Shak, whom he made quick work of. This victory is Bloms’ first live tournament win.

Just a year ago Blom attended the PCA and revealed himself as the complete sicko cash game player formerly only known to the poker world as ‘Isuldur1’. The Swedish Phenom has had a rollercoaster of a ride in 2011 winning and losing several million per session, ultimately showing a profit of $1,400,000 at years end.

Prior to this win, Blom has not had much success as a tournament player live or online. This win is by far his largest tournament cash and solidifies him as a legitimate contender in tournament play.
